Le Bas is a design studio established in Buenos Aires in 2012.

We design timeless portable objects, bags and wallets made of Argentine leather
top quality, carefully handcrafted by great craftsmen
passionate about this traditional trade.

In addition, all our fittings are delicately made in bronze by a local artisan with years of experience.

We believe in the importance of a slow process, powered by simplicity and function. We design each object consciously and respectfully, creating quality products that last over time.

At Le Bas we find inspiration in the elemental beauty of the materials, the heritage that Argentine leather represents and in the love for harmony in crafts.
