Assembly New York

Originally studying fine art and curatorial studies in Los Angeles, designer Greg Armas operated contemporary galleries and launched concept boutique Scout LA in 2003. Before relocating to New York in 2008, Armas worked as an architectural and retail consultant in Tokyo. Assembly New York opens on Ludlow Street in Spring 2008, focused on introducing international & forward labels. Establishes the Assembly Mens collection in 2009: a range rooted in authentic materials, tradition and future-primitive details. Fall 2012 womens collection is debuted with presentations during NYFW at Milk Studios and in the eponymous boutique. A vertical company, all garments are sewn in New York city and currently stocked in over 45 finer retailers internationally.
